  Amitabh Jain completed his IIT in Delhi. Has obtained M.Tech
  degree from.

• Amitabh Jain, a 1989 batch Indian Administrative
  Service officer, first posted as Assistant Collector in Jabalpur, undivided
  Madhya Pradesh in June 1990. 

• In the district administration, he worked in Neemuch,
  Baikunthpur and Gwalior. He then served as a collector at Rajgarh, Chhatarpur,
  Hoshangabad.

•  After the formation of the state of Chhattisgarh, Shri Jain
  was the collector in Raipur and Bilaspur.

• Amitabh Jain has served as the Secretary, Principal Secretary and
  Additional Chief Secretary of various important departments in the Government
  of Chhattisgarh.
•  He worked in
  the Raj Bhavan, Commerce and Industry, Public Works, Public Relations,
  Excise, Commercial Tax (GST), Forest, Planning, Economic and Statistics, Home
  Jail, Transport, Water Resources Departments before being the Finance Secretary
  of the state for the last four years.

  During his seven-year deputation to the Government of India, Amitabh
  Jain has also served as Director / Joint Secretary in the Ministry
  of Commerce and Minister (Economic) in the Indian High Commission in
  London.
