⦿Governor Ms. anusuiya uikey was
born on April 10, 1957 in village Rohankala district, Chhindwara, Madhya
Pradesh.

⦿Her father’s name is the late Shri Lakhanlal Ji Uike. Ms. anusuiya has
been participating in social and political activities since her student days.

⦿She has been the former Deputy Chairman of the National Tribal Commission.

⦿Ms. anusuiya uikey holds a Masters in
Economics and LL.B. After passing the examination of the University, anusuiya
uikey has been a lecturer of Economics from 1982 to 1985 in Government College Tamia,
District Chhindwara (MP). After that, he resigned from government service and
contested the assembly elections.

⦿anusuiya uikey has been an MLA from Damua
assembly constituency from 1985 to 1990 and a minister of Women and Child Development Department
from the year 1988 to
1989 in Madhya Pradesh government.

⦿anusuiya uikey has been a member of various
commissions at the state and national levels. She has been a member of Rajya
Sabha from 04 April 2006 to 04 April 2012.

⦿she was awarded Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Fellowship on 06 December 1990 for the specific work done for
the upliftment of Dalit society. Along with this, on 21 September 1989, she was
honored as a conscious legislator by the then Lok Sabha Speaker, the Honorable
Shri Balaram Jakharji, for her outstanding work.

⦿Ms. anusuiya uikey
has traveled abroad to Moscow, Geneva, London, Malaysia, Zambia, Malawi,
Botswana, etc. while holding the post of MLA and MP. The report was prepared
